Flat green beans with black sesame seeds

The other day I bought green beans, looking so fresh; wanted to cook for dinner. I wanted to make something different than usual. I have these black sesame seeds in the fridge, and had been thinking of using them. Just struck with the idea that green and black would be a good combination with red onions.

Prep time: 10 minutes, cooking time: 10 minutes

Ingredients:

1 pound green flat beans

1 medium size red onion

1 tsp grated ginger

1 tbsp oil

1 tbsp black sesame seeds

Salt to taste

Trim beans on both ends, and cut them diagonally. After cutting wash them in cold water, and put in a strainer. Heat oil in a pan. When a little smoky, put onions. Saute for 2 minutes. Color will become a little brown. Then put the ginger. Stir it nicely. Then put the beans, salt and sesame seeds. Give a good stir on medium high heat. Put the lid and wait for 2 minutes, then lower the heat. Wait for 5 minutes, then open the lid. Check that the beans are cooked according to your taste. Turn off heat. It would be so delicious you can eat with rice or naan.
