Fish with Mustard seeds and onion gravy

I wrote this recipe three weeks ago got busy with religious discourse held at our house, got sick in the meantime. Today is a beautiful day with lot of sunshine, inspiring me to do all the pending work. My husband likes fish so I always make it in a different way, sometimes bake it with lemon and pepper, or with butter. This one wanted to make with masala and gravy not like fish curry but fish with masala twist. Tilapia wish cooks very well with gravy as it holds the shape do not get mushed.

Prep time: 30 minutes, Serves: 2

Tilapia fish 2 fillet about 1 pound
1 tbsp mustard seeds
1 large onion finely chopped
1tbsp crushed tomatoes or
1 large fresh tomatoe
1 fresh lemon
Salt to taste
1 tbsp freshly grounded black pepper
2tbsp oil
Wash fish in cold water and put it in a strainer. From one fillet make 3 pieces squeeze fresh lemon with some salt and black pepper and keep it aside. Heat oil in a pan, when little smokey put the mustard seeds let them crackle for few seconds, put the onion cook on medium heat for 2 minutes or so till it changes color to light pink add crushed tomato cook it till oil separates, add salt stir it. Now add the fish pieces on bed of this onion tomatoes paste cover it, lower heat low let it cook for five minutes open lid, gently flip fish so the other side is cooked in gravy let the other side cook another 5 minutes. Turn off heat.
