Ginger Mint Tea

In winter months you feel your throat is hurting or you feel cold is on its way. I like to drink hot water with ginger and mint leaves. I dry fresh mint leaves in summer and keep in the freezer to use in winter, when fresh ones from your garden are not available, I do the same for basil leaves. This tea is good for digestion and cold, usually I make big pot and drink during the whole day.

Prep time – 5 minutes

Ingredients:

2 cups water

1 tsp grated ginger

1 tsp crushed mint leaves

1 tsp honey (optional)

1 tsp black tea leaves (optional)

Boil 2 cups of water in a pan with ginger and mint leaves, after boiling put the lid on the pan so the flavors brew in. Strain it and sip this tea. This simple and without any additives.
